Engineered in Germany, warrantied in the US.
Every NEMO rack is engineered by BlüTech GmbH in Bavaria — the same factory that has built van bike racks for European conversions since 2005. Each rack goes through KTL cathodic dip coating, matte powder top coat, and is TIG welded by hand.
The engineering stack
- S235JR structural steel, cut and bent to ±0.5 mm tolerance
- TIG welded (not MIG) for cleaner, longer-lasting joints
- KTL cathodic dip primer — 20 micron protection at every weld seam
- Matte powder coat top layer for UV and abrasion resistance
- 1500+ hour salt-spray tested per ASTM B117
- 300,000 cycle load-tested at rated 70 kg
